I’ve known Anjeanne Weiss for more than a decade and have worked with her in the mental health arena with the American Red Cross, witnessed her providing therapeutic interventions, been her student in Rainbow Reiki classes, invited her to teach more than one master’s level social work seminar section dealing with hard to reach clients, and have been great friends through illness, personal loss, and great times.
I have found her to be one of the most talented and gifted social work clinicians I’ve ever had the pleasure to know (I taught at the MSW and Ph.D. levels for more than 30 years, so I’ve encountered hundreds of aspiring clinicians). Her dedication to her clients and her ability to provide appropriate therapeutic interventions makes her a remarkable individual.
Not only is she a superbly talented service provider, she is also an excellent teacher. My MSW students always looked forward to the sessions when she engaged them in rigorous intellectual camaraderie. As her student in Rainbow Reiki, I found her to be thoughtful, mindful of my ignorance, challenging, creative, and fun. In whatever she does, she is always prepared and gives it her all.
In sum, her background, experiences, dedication, thoughtfulness, and good humor combine to make her an exceptional woman.
