I have a license to practice Clinical Social Work (Psychotherapy), to diagnose and treat mental health conditions in the state of Louisiana, and I am licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners. My license is renewed annually, only after meeting the relicensing criteria, including state-approved continuing education courses. I attended a CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) accredited university for my Master’s degree in Social Work. (CSWE is the only organization that accredits MSW programs.) These are not self-accreditation’s, these are not accreditation’s created for an esoteric school or program that teaches coaching or counseling. I attended world recognized universities for my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

I am not a medical doctor. I support the treatment program provided by the medical provider. I do not prescribe medication of any kind. Never disregard professional medical advice nor delay in seeking professional medical treatment.

In the event of an emergency, call a doctor or 911 immediately. I will refer clients to seek emergency care at a hospital or urgent care facility. I am not an emergency care expert nor do I provide emergency services.
